Thefts from unlocked cars and outbuildings

The NN46 Beat Team, whilst seeing more recent reports of this kind of behaviour elsewhere in ASHBY, have recently been made aware of a theft from an insecure vehicle/insecure outbuilding in the LODGE CLOSE area on 23/12/25 (around 0353 hours). We are appealing for anyone who may remember noticing something suspicious at this time and requesting that people check CCTV footage to see if they have captured anything (assuming that the footage is kept for this length of time). We’re also hoping that this serves as a reminder that there are opportunists out there trying car door handles and unlocked outbuildings. Please remember to lock-up!
